Who I am
I am currently a senior at Loyola University Chicago and am studying Environmental Policy, with a focus on Environmental Health. I am the current Vice President of Philanthropy for Alpha Chi Omega, which is a nationally recognized sorority that raises money for Domestic Violence Awareness. I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri, but moved to Chicago, Illinois for my schooling and plan to get a job in Environmental policymaking revolving around Environmental health.
I have had various different jobs which have all given me different perspectives and experiences that I can carry throughout my life. I have worked with children, as a nanny over many summers and throughout my school years. This job has shown me passion, patience, understanding, and how to take on a leadership role. This job has also shown me empathy, which I truly believe is one of the most important qualities of a person. I have also worked as a sales associate at LARK Skin Care, a small business in my hometown, St. Louis, Missouri. This job taught me how to be a good team player, how to manage product inventory, and managing orders, as well as interacting with customers. I have also volunteered for many years at different places, which have given me insight into different job opportunities and have given me a diverse range of skills. All of these job and volunteer experiences have given me a unique position, in that I have learned many different skills that can transfer to many different types of jobs.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about who I am. I hope that we will be in touch!
