Who I am

I am currently a senior at Loyola University Chicago and am studying Environmental Policy, with a focus on Environmental Health. I am the Vice President of Philanthropy for Alpha Chi Omega, which is a nationally recognized sorority that raises money for Domestic Violence Awareness. I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri, but moved to Chicago, Illinois for my schooling and plan to get a job in Environmental policymaking revolving around Environmental health looking at post-grad.

My first job was as a sales associate at Lark Skin Care, in St. Louis, MO. This strengthened my interest in skincare, as well as helping people figure out what makes them feel like their best self. This job taught me how to be a good team player, how to manage product inventory, managing orders, as well as interacting with customers. I have worked with children, as a nanny over many summers, a volunteer at my old daycare, and a babysitter throughout my school years. This job has shown me passion, patience, understanding, and how to take on a leadership role. This job has also shown me empathy, which I truly believe is one of the most important qualities of a person.

I figured out my love for the environment, throughout middle school and high school where my favorite classes were the ones about animals. I decided that I wanted to help animals and the planet and that is why I am studying Environmental Policy. I grew up under the influence of a lawyer, and it was always something that I was interested in. Throughout my volunteering, at my old daycare, working with kids during high school, and with helping with domestic violence survivors has made me want to have a job where I can help people.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about who I am. I hope that we will be in touch!
