It’s a good day to show support for survivors.

This past year I served as Alpha Chi Omega’s Vice President of Philanthropy in the Iota Rho Chapter at Loyola University Chicago. Every year, we put on our Volley Against Violence event which raises money for survivors of domestic violence. We raised over $3000 for WINGS Chicago, Illinois’ largest domestic violence agency during this event, as well as teaching the Loyola community about healthy relationships and domestic violence awareness. I was able to plan, promote, and execute this event by reaching out to Loyola students, the Chicago community, and the Sorority and Fraternity Life at Loyola. This was an amazing opportunity to practice event planning and social media promotion for future workplaces.
